Azer Babayev is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at ADA University (Baku) and currently a visiting scholar at PRIF. From 2009 to 2018 he was a postdoctoral researcher and an associate fellow in PRIF's research department “Intrastate Conflict”. His research interests are in the areas of conflict resolution and democracy promotion, with a focus on the post-Soviet space.
